Fall 2014

Fall snuck up on us this year. We had a social for our life group in October at our house and had a great time. This was the third year we have had one.  Some of the guys come and shoot before and then everyone else comes and everyone eats, plays, and fellowships.

Ready for the shooting to commence:

The guys had exploding targets this year. No shoot would be complete at our house without the cops being called. We live outside city limits, so there is nothing that they can do, but complaints are always filed...

Everyone was supposed to bring paints for the kids to paint pumpkins, but no one brought pumpkins or paints, so Tucker was so bummed. I had already tried to warn him this might happen, and if it did, then we would do it the next day. So I followed through and he was thrilled.

One last hayride before daddy had to take the tractor back:
This boy is in love with the tractor as much as Tucker was and still is!

Sure do love this daddy!!

The boys went with me to vote and we are all wearing our "I voted" stickers!

Farmer for Halloween:

And Dr. Jace:

My men going outside to work!

I started making a recipe of pumpkin oatmeal cookies that they boys LOVE...it's nothing special and most people wouldn't like them, but I guess since they love oatmeal and they love pumpkin, they thought it was great....1 cup of pumpkin puree, 1 cup of oatmeal uncooked, and then whatever add ins you want...we usually add pumpkin spice, nuts, raisins, and sometimes I add in a few chocolate chunks for myself.

Sweet boy holding my hand...love these...

This is the boys "wrestling" with their heads.
Ready to play in his warm coveralls a sweet family gifted to us (actually these and the ones below Jace is wearing).

Quick picnic before date night out at Bellevue.

Proud kiddo of daddy's kill.

Love this sweet smile. This might be the first time this guy has had his own bath in almost a year. This was when Tucker went to Louisville to visit Aunt Kat and Uncle Scott...

Cold days mean we have to get creative with playtime!

Train time:

These boys LOVE each other most of the time!!

Just chillin'...

Family night. I love seeing these pictures as they have progressed over the last two years since we started this. I hope it lasts for a VERY VERY long time!!

Tucker asked daddy to blow leaves into a pile so that he could jump in it. They had a ball!

These sweet boys have a ball playing together. So thankful the Lord has BLESSED our family with these two. I continue to pray for their friendship and bond over the years to come.
