Photo Dump

Here is a photo dump from the last month:

This might be a little over board, but I haven't posted in so long and I don't want to forget any of these photos, so here goes.
When we got home from the grocery store last week he would NOT let me put him down, and with lots of cold/frozen groceries in the car and several hours before his daddy arrived home, I had to figure out what to do, so I thought I'd try the "Baby Genius" on demand that is offered on our TV - and I know I shouldn't have, but it was 3 minutes and I thought it might work - to my utter surprise, it REALLY worked.  He was glued to the TV for the entire 3 minutes - which was exactly enough time for me to get out all the groceries and take this quick photo...no more TV at our house though.  It's crazy how it completely takes all his attention, I've never seen anything like it.  Scary!
He found my plastic storage in the kitchen and just climbed right on in.  To my dismay, the cabinet he is in connects under the sink and then over to my cleaning products and he figured that out very quickly.  We now have a new plastic storage cabinet in the kitchen - and it's the only thing he can get to.

For some reason my little man LOVES the bottom rack of the dishwasher.  He was working with the tires and trying to figure out how to get the entire thing out of the bottom, so I pulled it out and placed the diapers on top so he could roll it around.  He thought that was the greatest thing ever.
The new cabinet he can get in...and the mess made.

T man loves his new friend Avery.  They are really about the same age, but he didn't really get too interested but just recently.

Anything that moves is invariably entertaining to T man, and he has to know how it works.  Here he is checking out the stroller tires and making sure they are all on there correctly. :)  Jonathan says he is trying to figure out if we can lift it and add some mud tires...ha ha.

We had a garage sale a few weeks ago and he played in the driveway with all the pine cone droppings while we cleaned up - he was so dirty but had a blast.
Here we are matching...all three of us in grey - this seems to happen so much and we never plan it!
Fall festival at our friends Nick and Lucy's church is Somerville - all the other kids were wearing costumes, but I didn't realize that it was actually a fall fest until we arrived...we mistakenly thought it was a bonfire with the church.  It was a ton of fun though!

Sweet boy playing with the coaster.  He is fully fascinated with the stone coasters we have.
This walker has been a life saver.  He loves to walk around and get wherever he wants to go without crawling or getting our assistance.

A little pumpkin fun.  This was the first pumpkin he has seen, so he was very interested in touching it and checking it out.

Loves swinging!
T man loves playing in his toy chest in his room.  The day after he rode on daddy's tractor (which is red), he pulls this out for the first time and starts playing with it....I don't know that he really relates this, but it seems like he does.  We don't give them enough credit for figuring things out.

 A little Autumn Photo shoot:

Once again, we match...we went to church and didn't realize it until we were walking out the door, so I grabbed my camera on the way out the door and took a few photos before we changed and had lunch with my parents.

Bonfire Time!

I'm so behind in blogging lately...hopefully I'll be able to catch up in the next few days.

We had our first party at the house since we moved in January on October 22nd. Our Sunday School class came out for good eats, hayride, bonfire, and pumpkin carving contest. We had about 30 people out here - around 10 couples and their kids - we had a great time! I was so busy with enjoying myself, that we didn't really get any photos...here's what I took at the end of the night.

We had hotdogs, chips, smores, and appetizers.

Just a few of the pumpkins carved ... a car, cinderella, and the other one is turned so I can't tell, but we also had elmo, cinderella's castle, and they were all so cute!

Oh Where Oh Where has my baby boy gone?

Tucker is officially 8 months old tomorrow...where has the time gone?

* He is wearing 12-18 month clothes.

* He has tried apples, bananas, pineapple, broccoli, sweet peas, green beans, potatos, bread, carrots, squash, and zucchini.

* He is crawling and getting into anything he wants.

* He loves pushing a ball around and following it around the house.

* He has really started thinking about how to get something. For example: this morning he pushed his ball under the table and couldn't get to it - normally he would let me know that he needs me to get it for him, but I sat there and watched as he crawled all around the table until he could get it without my help - he is growing up!

* One of our favorite past times these days is swinging - I found this swing at a garage sale for $5 and it was the best $5 I have spent - He LOVES it!

 * He plays so well by himself.  He still wants me there, which I love, but he is learning to start taking a few minutes here and there to himself while I'm getting ready or doing laundry - such independance.
 * Bath time has become a little different around here lately.  Tucker loves to play in the bottom of of the shower with toys.
 * We went to the Pink Palace Craft Fair at Autabon park - it was fun, but a little hot.  He was a trouper though!
 * Lunch at the Hut with mommy, daddy, grammy, and granny- He has decided that it's really fun to scream and test his voice out when we are at restaurants.  It's not obnoxious, but he sure enjoys himself when we are out at lunch.
 * Our new cool tennies...size 4 thank you!

 * Another favorite past time right now is standing at any door he can see out of and try to talk to Avery.  He really likes talking to her and giggles when she comes up to the window.

 * The "table that talks" is such a fun play toy.  It speaks in spanish, english, and music.  He has started pushing it around the house like its a walker, too funny!
 * The true walker.  He can get pretty far with it too!
 * We found out what smashing ritz crackers on the floors does...so much fun to make a mess.

 * Grammy's toy chest - "I can get into it whenever I want" - he pulls all the toys out and then moves on. :)

 * One of Jonathan's best friends got married the first weekend of October - this was little man ready for the rehersal dinner.  Little man has been to so many weddings in so few months - 5 to be exact!

Happy 8 months sweet boy! We love you!
