Ride Em Cowboy

Tucker has this odd need to ride anything that is sitting and he thinks he can ride - I caught him this morning trying to ride this poor little dog - that is like 1/8 of his size.  He loves animals so much.

Sitting on the dog - way too small to be sitting on!

Here is one from a few weeks back:

Sweet Avery, she just takes whatever he does to her and loves him anyways - She's the best dog!

Memorial Day Weekend

Our Memorial day was wonderful.  It is such an important day - to remember the many people who have given their lives for our country - and also the families that have to continue on without their loved ones.  We invited our parents and family out to spend a little quality time together.  It was a great time for all.  We grilled out squash, zucchini, hamburgers, fried fish, had salad, fruit, fries, chips and dip, and pretty much ate the entire time everyone was here!  Here are a few photos

So Tucker was completely dressed before everyone got there - but decided about 5 minutes in he wanted to swim in his pool - clothed, so we took off his socks, shoes, and outfit, and just left him in his diaper to play. He had the best time.  I don't normally let him run around outside barefoot and naked, but I figured it was ok and he loves being in just his diaper. :)

He was a Ham!

I Love Eating Banana's!

This was the best photo we got of the three of us - Tucker was signing that he wanted food as opposed to smiling.

He thinks it's a phone

Hope your memorial day was as wonderful as ours!

Family Vacation - Beach Style!

We went to Panama City Beach with the Golding's this past week.  We were only able to stay Saturday to Wednesday because we  are splitting Jonathan's vacation time this year so we can go a few days with both families.  I thought it a good idea at the time, but I believe next year we will have to choose.  There is way too much work that goes into planning a trip with a kiddo to not go a full week.  It looked like we were moving!  Also, that's a very long car ride to make twice in less than a week with a 15 month old...not quite sure what we were thinking!

He actually did pretty good, all things considered.  Here are a few photos of him on the way -

When am I ever going to get out of here?

All comfy and ready for his nap with Mr. Cow

The beach was beautiful on Saturday when we got there.  We decided to take Tucker to see what he thought about the sand.
Heading out to the beach for Tucker's first time!  He was excited.

His first time to walk on sand.  He was NOT a fan.  He cried until we picked him up.

Family photo - FYI - This was after a full day of traveling.  The boys look fine - why is that?

Crying because the sand was on his feet.

He did get acquainted to the sand and even enjoyed splashing in the water.

Here he is ready for the beach on Sunday.  He wasn't a huge fan of the sand between his toes, and I'm not sure if it was because it was hot or because he is so much like his daddy and doesn't like being outside barefoot - he definitely doesn't get that from me.  I only wear shoes because I have to!

We decided it would be best if we tried to go to dinner early for Tucker's sake, but as we were almost ready to leave he zonked out.  We waited for about 30 minutes and headed on to the car.  He woke up on the way, but little man had about two hours of naps the whole time we were gone.  Poor thing just doesn't sleep well anywhere but his crib and it showed this trip.

After dinner we went to the Pier to eat Marble Slab, and Papaw took Tucker on the train, he LOVED it!

We went deep sea fishing on Monday.  It was a beautiful day and we had a great time!  Our six hour trip turned into a ten hour trip.  We honestly didn't catch many fish - they said it was one of the worst days they had ever had, but our crew tried to make it fun and really did try to keep working to get fish, they just weren't biting.  This was in the cab on the way home.  Love my little family!

Love this picture!

My animated little boy.  This is where he points when you ask him where his nose is.

Tucker was fascinated with the live well on the boat.  He played in it all day.

Mrs. Pam caught an Amber Jack

I caught an Amber Jack and also a Red Snapper

Kat wouldn't hold her fish - we didn't have an option about holding ours :)
We took photos on the beach the night before we left.  Here are a few of my favorite ones.

My favorite picture of the trip.  I love my boys

Tucker was so tired and bored with the picture taking.

Took us over an hour to get him asleep on the way home but he finally gave in.  Thankfully he slept for several hours, but it was a hard ride home.

You can't tell in this picture, but little T man sleeps with his right eye open, just like his daddy.  It's a little scary.

Kat gave him her phone and turned on Pandora - he was jamming out to it.
