Jonathan's cousin Jenny got married to a great guy, Chip, this weekend and so in turn we had a lot of family in town. Their wedding was by no means traditional in any way. For starters, there were no ushers to seat people, there was not a bride and groom side to sit, everyone just sat wherever they wanted. Also, they did not do a garter toss, bouquet throw, or feeding each other cake - there wasn't even a wedding cake. They served pies, the reception was based completely from their personalities. I have to say that I think it was my favorite wedding to ever attend. They had so many cool things that really reflected them as a couple. I loved it!

They had several flavors of pies - Lemon, chocolate, cherry, coconut, and pecan. |
|
The food table - there were a ton of veggies, and chocolate covered strawberries. |
|
The fireplace had cotton bunched up on the side, the window above has a large photo of the two of them, and the fence posts throughout the reception added such a neat addition to the decor. |

This was one side of the entrance. |

Chip is a farmer, so the country theme was so neat and it really was so much about them. |

The hanging sign says the "Reeves Farm" - so cute! |
Jonathan's cousin William, his wife Veronica, and their little boy Abishi stayed with us this weekend. The boys had such a great time together. So glad we got to spend time with family all weekend, even if it was a super busy time.
