This has been a super exciting month seeing everything start to come together!

We had our concrete stained the first week of September. We haven't really gotten to see it all because this was the day they stained it outside looking in, and then they immediately covered it the next day, so we haven't gotten to actually look at it up close.

It's covered here and they started working on everything else now.

They stained the bead board on the porches as well as the posts

Sprayed the ceilings with a primer

Beautiful sunset. So excited to watch God's handy work each night from our back porch.

I was told to pick out a formica countertop, and these were what I was PLANNING to go with - one of them, but they called and said that it's been so long since they did that, it was actually CHEAPER to do granite in my laundry room...so since they twisted my arm :) I went with it!!

They sprayed the trim as well as the doors...

Unfortunately it rained the night we had 20, yes 20 pallets of sod delivered...so they had to be laid! Thankful for sweet friends and family who lent a helping hand.

He wasn't worried about it at all...

Someone also stepped thru the ceiling...it's being fixed. that's just part of the building process...things are GOING TO HAPPEN.

Our granite was installed, but thankfully we were there when they were about to install the island because they had cut a big hole where our ice maker belongs. They had to get another piece cut and they showed up LATE - like 7:30 Monday night to install before appliances arrived on Tuesday!

Today, September 27th, our plumbing was all installed - fixtures, potties, etc as well as our appliances! It was a busy day!!
